Beauty Bucket March

“I can’t go out for a walk today, as I have lots to write, ” I’ve been kept kickng myself since this morning, repetitively and out loud. “So what… are some angry reader going to write a complaint?! “, I continued. Probably not, but already a few months ago, I decided that Beauty bucket will be a regular post on my blog. For this reason, this post was produced catching the final moments of March.

With regards to the photograph, the following items are listed from left to right:

  • Certified organic Melvita Purifying Deodorant, with 24-hour effectiveness. Applause. This seriously good deo convinced me with its efficiency, non-greasy texture that leaves no trace on clothes, a fresh but not citrus scent (fragrance composed of peppermint, thyme and sandalwood) and its inscription ‘without aluminum chlorohydrate’. That’s it, if you’re looking for a healthy, effective, natural and gentle, trendy, scented deodorant. Price: € 9.90 / 50 ml
  • Lush Fun. These two balls, red and green, are the ‘left overs’ from Amalja’s favorite ‘playdough’. Lush invention, soap, bubble bath, shampoo, occasionally acts as a laundry detergent in our home (when I run out of detergent, I throw a Fun ball into the machine, which effectively combats blemishes) and also a toy for creation of different sculptures. There are five different colours and scents available (at Christmas, we even had a golden glitter colour), which can be mixed. Price : 9,45 € / 200g
  • Ecological Amalu Repellent Spray for children. I’m not too sure… I can be quite fussy when it comes to choosing a repellent for children and if possible, I always choose a completely natural, organic version. Maybe this requires repeated application, which wasn’t any problem at all with this spray, as the kids really like its scent. I don’t know what it contains, certainly lavender and other floral waters. Maja from Amalu made it for me (I asked her for a gentle mixture for baby skin, but also unmerciful for mosquitoes in the tropics). I’m thinking of producing it myself this year with the help of her workshop. Price: € 18.60 and made to order
  • NUXE Reve De Miel Hand and Nail Cream is a good hand cream with lots of natural ingredients, such as derivative sunflower oil, shea butter and argan oil. You get a feeling that you applied a good moisturizer for the face and not some greasy cream that leaves a sticky film. I think this is one of the best hand creams that is available in Slovenia. After its usage, on a normal or slightly dry skin you forget to apply it again for a few days. Only if the skin is cracked you need repeated treatment; at each application you feel a relief. I didn’t notice any changes in the cuticle, but I have no problems with it. Price: 12, 43 € / 75 ml
  • Gorenjske Lekarne cooling ointment. I love it and I managed to encourage all my friends with babies to buy in to it (and those who have children with frequent sore bums really appreciate this product too). Unlike other cooling ointments it has no powdery composition, it’s thick, but very well smeared and is almost odorless (does not contain preservatives and fragrances). I’m using it for Bela’s parched skin on her ears, occasional scratches or dry skin on the cheeks. At home we have a big pot of it, this tube is with us on whenever and wherever we travel. Price: 4,27 € / 90g
  • Bayer CanesCare Calm Gel. Until I tried out this soap for intimate care, I had always had problems ‘down there’ when traveling or on vacations. This soap with pH 8.5 obviously balances really well overly acidic pH private parts. It immediately soothes irritation and itching. The smell is a bit ‘clinical’ and you always pour a bit too much of the product from the bottle, but this is definitely not the reason why I wouldn’t buy it again.. Price: € 8.30 / 200 ml.
  • Organic certified Melvita Pour Bebe Relaxing Massage Oil. Oils are my beauty obsession and I can’t imagine nursing a baby without it. I liked the following: it is non-allergenic, free of essential oils, alcohol free and dermatologically tested. It smells good and although it is dense, it applies well. We used it quite quickly and we can’t buy the new one, as they’re taking it off the market, Melvita reported. “It’s alright,” I thought, “because I’d like to try some others anyway. “
